ABOUT US
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
I have been carrying out inspections and fire risk assessments in Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in the Portsmouth and Southampton areas since 2013. I am fully conversant with the HMO Licensing requirements and procedures and have been helping my clients to meet their obligations to keep their tenants safe. Following an on-site inspection I provide either a Certificate of Compliance (Southampton) or a Fire Risk Assessment report (Portsmouth) to support an application for an HMO Licence.
I have previously served as a Fire Safety Officer with responsibility for fire safety and training within military establishments, including providing fire risk assessments for accommodation blocks.

I have worked in both the Building Surveying and the Environmental Health fields for the last 10 years. To support my experience I have attended and qualified in the following courses:

I am cognisant of the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 as amended by the Fire Safety Act 2021.
I am fully insured to carry out HMO inspections and fire risk assessments.
